SALES PROFESSIONALS (Full & Part-Time)
Our growing company is looking for experienced sales professionals to work in our Lake George / Queensbury store location. Ideal candidates will be friendly, courteous, organized and responsible with the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
BASIC DUTIES:
- Greet customers in friendly and polite manner
- Actively sell merchandise and explain product features and benefits.
- Measure and properly fit customers for footwear, socks and insoles.
- Recommend products based on customer's individual needs
- Advise customers on care and maintenance of products.
- Answer all customer questions and concerns.
- Process sales transactions.
- Check inventory and availability using computer system.
- Receive and stock new merchandise.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for pick-up.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and neatness of store.
- Serve as a positive and enthusiastic brand ambassador.
REQUIRED SKILLS TO APPLY:
- Prior retail sales experience
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to climb ladders regularly and retrieve merchandise from stockroom.
- Prior experience handling credit card and cash transactions.
- Basic internet and computer skills.
- Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.
