The Danner Quarry USA Soft Toe Work Boots are made here in America at Danner's Portland facility, using imported components.

First, Danner globally sources only the very best materials and initially utilizes some construction work overseas. Then these partially assembled components are shipped to Danner's American factory in Portland Oregon. It is here that the boot's uppers are formed and the entire bottom of the boots is handcrafted, giving Danner Artisans quality control over the finished product. This manufacturing process creates a less expensive, yet top quality USA Made Work Boot.

For these Quarry Boots, Danner had Vibram integrate a 12 Iron Vibram Midsole, with an updated rugged Vibram Outsole, to help withstand any Midsole break-down. This new and Exclusive Outsole is made of Oil & Slip Resistant Rubber, has a 90º Heel and a very specific Lug Pattern that is Non-Linear. This type of outsole aids in the Quick Release of Debris and gives aggressive traction underfoot. To prevent stitch break-down, from kicking off your boots at the end of every day, Danner has simply moved the heel stitching on these boots to the outside of the heel.

Danner has integrated the construction they use for their Military boots into these premium Quarry Boots, so they have a durable, breathable, comfortable collar, giving them zero break-in time. A lightly sanded upper creates a slight leather nap, with a soft velvety feel and gives them a slightly distressed appearance. A breathable Gore-Tex Membrane effectively keeps out water and they are Electrical Hazard (EH) Certified.

Danner states that these boots are eligible for recrafting at a later date, depending on the boots condition at the time. Danner directly offers recrafting services that is done at their USA Portland facility, by their skilled Craftsmen and women, replacing parts, providing leather care, restitching seams, replacing the outsoles, and even doing major overhauls on boots.
