Dunham was the very first brand that we carried at Family Footwear Center when we opened our doors over 20 years ago. In fact our first store, located in Bennington Vermont, was an Original Dunham Shoe Outlet. Although the Dunham Original #7701 Canadian Work Boot had been discontinued back in 2012, we were constantly flooded with requests from our New England customers, who still desperately wanted this boot.
Family Footwear Center can now offer you a Replica of the Original Dunham, which is so close to the Original Dunham in look and in feel, that we have called it the "Canadian #7701" This Replica is made in the very same factory as the Original Dunham and is made on the very same lasts as the original; meaning it still has that roomy fit you have come to love. The quality of the materials and components are the all same, right down to the soft, Pigskin Lining. The only differences you will find is that the newer boot has replaced the original thin felt insole with a much more modern, cushioned insole, and instead of the Dunham logo it is stamped with the letters STC, for the new Canadian manufacturer: Shoe Technology Corporation.
