The Timberland PRO Boondock boots have a Composite Toe that is Electrical Hazard (EH) Rated, meeting ASTM standards for safety toe footwear. They will protect feet as well as steel toe caps, but will weigh much less. Another benefit to wearing a composite toe work boot is that composite materials will not conduct heat or cold from the outside into the toe box like steel would.

Timberland has made the Boondock tough and rugged, with a Rubber Toe Guard in front and a Leather Heel Guard in back for extra durability. The boots have an Internal Waterproof Membrane that seals out water, keeping feet dry on the job. The Dual-Density TPU Outsole is Slip and Oil Resistant, with deep lugs for traction control over any terrain. For comfort, these Timberland Boondock boots are engineered with Timberland's Anti-Fatigue Technology and they have soft Leather Padded Collars that keep the boots super comfortable around the ankles.
